🔑 I can't log in
Your Canvas username and password are set to be the same as your RCC email login credentials. If you are a new student, your default account details can be found below:
Your MyRCC username and password are automatically created for you. To determine your initial MyRCC login information:
Click here to locate your MyRCC username and select “Forgot your user name”. Enter your first name (optional), last name, and email address. This must be a non-RCC email address that is already on file with the College (for example, the one used to apply to the College). Your username will be sent to the email address provided.
Your initial password will be the first letter of your last name in UPPERCASE, the second letter of your last name in lowercase and your six digit birth date. (Example: Mary Jane Smith with a birth date of March 17, 1998 would have a password of Sm031798). If you have any questions or issues, call the Computer Services Help Desk at 336-625-1573.
📚 I don't see my course
Your courses will not be visible until the start date stated on your course schedule. If you are missing a course that should have already started, please contact our Distance Education team at deteam@randolph.edu for further assistance.
💻 I need help using Canvas
There are various avenues for Canvas support.
- Passport to Canvas (Student Training Course) - Once you are able to log in to RCC's Canvas site, you will be able to enroll in our Passport to Canvas (Student Training Course). This course, Passport to Canvas, provides everything you need to know about using Canvas in your course(s). Once you are able to sign into Canvas, click here to enroll in the course.
- Chat with Canvas Support (Students) and Canvas Support Hotline- At any time in Canvas, you can click the Help button from the Global Navigation Bar on the left and select Chat with Canvas Support (Students) to be connected with a support representative from Canvas. You can also call the Canvas Support Hotline to speak with a Canvas support specialist. These services are available 24/7!
- Upcoming In-Person Events At RCC - RCC's C.E.T.L. team will be hosting events to answer questions and assist students as we transition to Canvas. More information about these events will be announced soon.
